PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Ronald J. Kass completed a Ph.D., in plant ecology at New Mexico State University and received his M.S. in botany at Brigham Young University. His academic career focused on rare plants monitoring, disturbance in forest riparian communities and floristic studies in the Great Basin and Colorado Plateau.
He has 31 years of professional consulting experience and principal investigator on more than 200 projects focusing on compliance for the Clean Water, Endangered Species and National Environmental Policy Acts. He is certified as a Professional Wetland Scientist by the Society of Wetland Scientists and included on the USACOE list of consultants.
